The Hairy Birders has been created by two bird watching pals - Gary Whelan and David Johnson.
The name is somewhat pointless as neither of us have much hair but we liked the name!
Gary is a travel agent and publican whose interests bird watching (naturally!), football (Spurs season ticket holder), walking, reading and beer!
He is married to Jenny and has a teenage daughter Sophie.
David is a postman but an ex professional footballer who enjoys much of the same as Gary!
He is married to Louise and they have two dogs - May and Doris.
If you want to meet us we are usually in the Prince of Wales, Green Tye, Nr Much Hadham in Herts.
